Yes I think so
but Nishi is 2 points away from winning now
That 2nd serve was out!
Nick was probably hoping so, too.
His return game is pathetic i think.. Wont win slams if he doesnt improve return game.
Plus he is not a fighter.. Just a brat who doesn't care much
YES! Nick saves 3 MP's!!
We could have had Kyrgios vs Zverev QF. We’ll get Gulbis vs Nishikori.
Well, he didn't save the last MP... Kei played very solid.
They were mentioning on ESPN that both Novak/Kach and Gulbis/Nishikori would have been deferred to Tuesday
TTW experts left crestfallen as Tennis Saviour Nick Kurious gets bounced in straights in the third round.
Nishikori played a great match and was mentally very strong.
To sum up the match;
-Kei read Nicks serve well
-Nick didn't have a clue what to do because his serve was being returned
-Nick Sulked his way through the match as Kei won rally after rally
-Nick looked like a servebot and his returns were garbage
Sir Nick, the saviour of tennis.
Nick looks amazing player only when he is serving so clinically. I think partly because it increases confidence for the return game & he can play very loose. When it is being returned or he is serving badly, he looks a servebot with very dodgy ground game.
Story of Nick's career. Such a child.
You will be glad to know the real saviour of tennis, Andrew Castle, is playing at Wimbledon this year in the Gentlemen's Invitation event. You might have to queue for 4 hours in 31C to get a courtside view, but it will be worth it.
