22 majors won by players not named Serena since 2010. Seven won more than one. Serena is not by any true measure "dominating" anything, and even a victory in the final still concludes with the same wave of players winning majors, and not falling over as in your Hooded Hate fantasies.

I was hoping for a Kerber or Kasatkina win, but I voted Ostapenko.

Anyway, in our defence, despite Kerber's great credentials and great 2018, she lost to Riske in Mallorca (Stosur who ain't good on grass managed to beat Riske in that tournament) and lost to Caroline in the Eastbourne SF's in a quality match.

Majority of us went for Kvitova who's had a stellar year and won Birmingham (grass) in the lead up to Wimbledon only to be stunned by Sasnovich.

Wonder if Sloan can defend her title at the U.S. Open or get booted in the second round since she will get a bye for the 1st round? She won't drop 30 spots. She won Miami and was a finalist at RG, those 2300 points will keep her in the top 20.
