2018 WTA Sudden Death League: ROLAND GARROS

I will laugh if I, make a 4th doubles final with no pick left. Literally I've only had one wrong pick so far all year but I run out of picks....lol
 
As I have never before -at least I can't remember- been forced to actually use the Back-up choice, I must ask about the rules. On the 4th round my actual pick was Muguruza and back-up Kerber. As Tsurenko gave up against Muguruza and Angie won, I have now used Angie as a possible pick but not Muguruza, right? If I can't use neither of them -in case they happen to win tomorrow-, I will be forced to pick Keys against Stephens! :confused:

Murguruza counted as 2 games were played and your backup was not used. The match counts as a retirement and not a walkover.
 
hmmm....well...Babos/Mladenovic throw me through a loop...guess I'll do this

BU: Hlavacova/Strycova

If the Czechs don't win I'm down to the Japanese ladies as my only option anyway...and if they win in that case I'll again make the final with no picks left...20-1 in doubles picks or something like that with no titles possibly...crazy...
 
My run in the doubles contest amazes me! Practically zero effort and I'm still in!?! :D

Doubles SF: Krejcikova/Siniakova (The one and only option I can pick!)

It’s a win win for me. I really want Muguruza or Sloane to win the French but if Halep wins that means I win the SDL which I’m happy with.
Keys well... I can’t see her doing it sorry Madison. Wouldn’t hate her winning though.

I would love to see Keys win because I have seen the work she has done over the past few years with Lindsay. The fact that she is in the SF of the French of all majors is kind of stunning. However...after her last match with Sloane, I have to say if Sloane comes out playing the way she has been Keys may well get clocked again.

Congratulations to @Aussie Darcy & @NaomiKonjuhPotapova who are Grand Slam Champions. 1st Slam winners since Roland Garros 2015, they are the 8th & 9th Slam champions in the WTA SDL.. all of which have been at Roland Garros. No winners so far of Aussie, Wimbledon or US Open.

Congrats to @NaomiKonjuhPotapova who is the new Number 1 in the Rankings.

@Aussie Darcy is setting a fast pace in the Race and has at least doubled everyone points apart from 1 other player.

@boredone3456 takes over as number 1 in the doubles series.
