I think they should have replayed the point, and it should not have been directly awarded to Karlovic, as Kei hit the ball. Why did they award the point to Karlovic?

Actually those guys i don't believe had a good 5th set record. I hope it doesnt come to Fed going through a 10 point TB and losing. That is one of the variations we have not had with Fed's losses and I hope he does not get into such a situation

It didn't affect his shot. He makes his shot and then the call came.
That's what the umpire said and Kei took it.

I thought the incorrect out call came as Kei was hitting. It could have disturbed him. And the umpire did not overrule. Only that way I would agree with you.

Nishikori be proud, mentally hung tough at the end and made up for dumb mistakes that almost cost him the match.

I think Fed may come through it ok. He has more options once it's a neutral rally. Depends on who he is playing. Djokovic could be a nightmare in the super tiebreak.

Karlovic is not clutch, he’s been more in the losing than on the winning side in these kinds of matches.

It was another close one just cause its Karlovic, not much you can do to get into his service games. Kei's serving is improved I believe.

Struggled first two rounds but you're right neither player in R3 should trouble Nishikori but against Djokovic, Kei needs to up another gear.
