Novak has a ton of points to defend from now until the USO too. But as you said, it would take a near-miracle for Fed to accomplish this and it's not entirely in his hands. His last realistic chance was 2017, I think.

As a matter of record, Federer and Djokovic have only met 3 times at Wimbledon: 2012 semi-final which Federer won, 2014 and 2015 finals both of which Djokovic won.

On grass they actually have very similar records. And Herbert has been playing his best tennis lately why Goffin is in a slump.

Can't underestimate Goffin. He's a solid professional out there who is playing much better tennis right now than he has in a while. Fed will have to capitalize on return and BP. Of course take of his serve. Could be a little like the RBA match if Fed lets him in. He has to close the door or Goffin will hang around. Voting Fed in 2, but can easily go 3 as we all should know by now. Let's get that #2 and #102 today.

I thought he meant #2 tournament win for the calendar year 2019? Or maybe #2 in the seedings for Wimbledon? It is mathematically impossible for Federer to move up to #2 in the ATP rankings before Wimbledon, Rafa is far enough ahead of him in points to keep him safe until after Wimbledon for that to happen.
