I'm gonna say Djoker in 2. I think Thiem is going to be physically and mentally exhausted from the Fed match, and if Djoker can beat Rafa at RG he can beat Thiem here. Thiem isn't going to show Novak anything new.

I try to go based on results...I haven't yet seen that Thiem has the answer to Djoker or Rafa on clay, provided they are playing well.
I dont expect another Rafa , he has won 11 FOs after all, but one FO has to be the last. At one point he will decline

Its strange that Djokovic has been a non entity since January, but I expect a big match like this is the perfect venue for his form to return. Domi must be a bit drained if not physically then emotionally, whereas Novak is rested and hungry. I think we're in for a djoko-nadal final folks.

Other than 2013, all their FO matches have been similar to Fedal's.

It comes down to how much Noel wants the match. If I was Noel, I wouldn't trust Tim to take out Ned, anywhere, but particularly not at RG. So throwing this match so Tim has another chance to pick up a meaningless title against Ned makes no sense. What makes sense is to show Ned and Tim who is boss right here to soften them up a bit for RG.

Djokovic's so called "win" over Nadal in RG 2015 is worth nothing. All he had to do was to show up, the match was NID.

Well, Soderling also lost the final of RG 2009 but I would say his win over Nadal meant something because he actually beat a pretty good Nadal in RG. (and to this day he remains the only player who did that)

Federer won 4 sets against Nadal in 5 meetings in RG. Djokovic won 4 sets in the first 6 meetings. Nobody except trolls takes 2015 seriously because this was the worst Nadal ever. This is honestly a joke to bring this match as a reason to why Djokovic is better than Federer. So I wouldn't say Djokovic did much better than Federer. The only argument he has is that RG 2013 semifinal which he still lost.

IMO, he doesn't need to. I seriously think had he beat Thiem by winning one of those MPs, and was playing Djokovic today, then for sure he wouldn't be going to Rome. Unless he feels himself he is a legit contender for RG, I wouldn't go. He needs to pace himself. Get to Paris early, get some practice sets in and play with house money. Things are actually falling into place with Thiem getting top four ranking, it means Federer can have a quarter that is free of the top three contenders for RG, and after feeling he can go toe to toe with Thiem, he will like his chances a bit more to go deep in Paris.

Djokovic pushed Nadal to 5, 9-7 in the 5th, and also won a match in straights. Federer won 0 and never pushed him really. Was just a Day at the office for Nadal.

Ok, let's remove 2006 then. In 2007 Djokovic wasn't in his prime yet but he still played much better than Nadal in 2015. But even if you want to remove it as well it doesn't change much.

Well it wasn't Federer's fault Nadal was never so horrible for him to take advantage.
Djoker hasn't done any better against Nadal at RG than Fed other than 2013 when Nadal choked when serving for the match.

I am just saying, you need to be consistent when you throw numbers around. If you want to take away 2015, then you better look at those early matches, where Djokovic was the shell of what he was going to become.

Keep talking about that 2015 match if that makes you feel better. Nobody will take you seriously. 2013 was close, but Nadal still won in the end. Federer pushed the best versions of Nadal on clay as well. (Rome 2006 for example)

Djokovic was fortunate that Nadal choked when serving for the match in 2013. Other than that it was business as usual when Nadal played Djokovic at RG.
Only Djoko trolls use 2015 as any sort of proof of Djoko's superiority.
