Lajovic in a master final

Lajovic comes from behind to destroy the destroyer of Djokovic and gain revenge for his fellow Serb.

So there will indeed be a Serb in the final on Sunday as we all expected. Just not the Serb we all expected.

C'mon guys give some credit to Lajovic. He played great. His one hand BH is a thing of beauty. I didn't think he can pull it off but he did it. Well done. Some people wanted the other Serb in the final but we still got the Serb ... it's just a different one, sorry :-D. Lajovic also has a great personality. No drama. (y)

Nadal will agree.

didnt follow Thiem in this tournament? What the **** happened? This new age guys are a joke.
who will replace the big three? Well. NO ONE i guess.

It seems like Dusan's BH slices really bothered Meddy. Along with the wind :)

Meddy seemed to abandon his high-percentage grinding style and was going for bigger shots than he usually does?

Yeah noticed that too, the basics like angled slices and low balls really annoyed him, Lajovic also struggled with the wind in the first set but adjusted better than Med

Am I imagining it or did Monte Carlo used to have night matches? I'm sure I can recall Murray playing Davydenko at night here back in 2009!

Djokovic,Federer,Nadal might have all the titles, glory, money.

But even when they beat the Fog, they feel like they have lost.

3 cheers for the coolest man in tennis, which ranks him probably as one of the coolest on this earth.

Ladies and gentleman, please, make way for the Fog.

A Fognini-Lajovic Masters 1000 final is what this pathetic era deserves
A little variety is nice...we will have an 11th non-Big 4 champion in 24 M1K’s beginning with Cilic’s title at TRS’16. Only Zedraffe has won multiple titles (3) in that group.

Ok, I was trying to remember this from memory, and Sock was the only one I kind of forgot.

Cilic (1)
Del Potro (1)
Thiem (1)
Zverev (3)
Isner (1)
Dimitrov (1)
Fognini/Lajovic (1)
Khachanov (1)
Sock (1)

If you had to pick one more player to add to this list, who it would be? I think Anderson maybe, but he's yet to reach a M1000 final.

Kyrgios...he lost TRS’17 final to Dimitrough and he won Acapulco this year with a tough overall draw similar to M1K level, beating three top 10 players.
