that guy's reaction around 32 seconds is killing me, he can' t believe what he is seeing
I love the crowd being shocked and upset only once he started to pack his bags as if it wasn’t a forefone conclusion from the moment he threw that chair that he’d be out of there.. like cmon.

What a wimp and coward. He can't beat you if you keep losing (tanking) before you are supposed to play him.

Kyrgios got his third warning after ruud broke to get the match 1-1 so the umpire gave the third game to ruud as well. Then kyrgios just decided to end the match, like you see in the gif above. I saw the entire match, Kyrgios got his first warning in the first game :-D:-D:-D

The guy talked to the supervisor like 4 times.
Call the supervisor!

It's going nuts everywhere. Grandstand court had so many people coming in and out during changeover, umpire asked everyone to sit down 4-5 times but didn't work. Then somewhere collapses in the stands and had to be escorted out.

Kyrgios has created more drama than anyone this week.

It looks like Kyrgios was not defaulted, he was penalized a game and then decided to quit the match in protest.

No he got penalised a game from cursing at the crowd, THEN he threw the chair and smashed a racuqet, so that's another penalty which results in automatic default. You'll notice the umpire called the ref to come in which indicates this.

So I haven't been following the entire match, but the exact sequence is more clear in this tweet: Nick gets a game penalty (presumably from talking/abusing crowd?) then smacks racquet/ throws chair, so results in automatic default

can't believe nickie lets the door of the fridge wide opened... not very environment-friendly, not to mention muguruza and azarenka won't even have fresh water for their match ! :giggle:

PS: do you still have passion fruit ice cream ?

Watched the highlights of Nadal-Chardy. Unfortunately Nadal is just as bad as he was before. Chardy is just a very bad player who has no idea how to hit a backhand.

Did you expect anything to change with Nadal really? Is he magically going to start playing like he used to several years ago?
He's just been abysmal period. Anytime he will face a quality player, he will be exposed. This is like the 2015 Nadal over here. Except this time, he might not come back strong next year due to his advanced age.
F.O will be a one man show with Novak dominating and winning. He might even do so without losing a set (as he did in Madrid), just to make a statement.

Yes, somehow Djokovic peaks on clay when there are no opponents at all. Last year there were some good players on clay: Nadal, Thiem, Zverev all played well. This year Djokovic won Madrid with Thiem being the only decent opponent in his draw. (and even Thiem wasn't too good, he was choking hard in that semifinal)

Oh well. Objectively speaking it's not Djokovic's fault that his opposition sucks.
I just think that Djokovic and even Federer are VERY opportunistic. They never miss a chance when their opposition is weak.
That is why I've been saying that Djokovic will be impossible to stop for the next several slams.

Fognini got dealt a pretty rough schedule. Italian's best hope ends up being last R2 match and meanwhile Schwartzman already into the QF.

Jesus Grandstand is PACKED. The crowd are in for a treat having the Big 3 all playing on the secondary court on the same day.

I love trees...but these tournament organizers need to do something about the trees casting shade on to the courts. It makes for a miserable viewing experience and I'm sure it's unpleasant for the players as well. Fed and Coric trading shanks is hardly good tennis.
