Nice run so far @Atennisone especially considering that on the 2nd round you picked Mayer instead of Schwartzman. Most people would've picked Schwartzman for that match. That was even more epic when Mayer said that he thought of giving a W.O. in that match because of an injury.

Your backup lost that day so you would've lost there. Instead you are already in the semifinals with both Nadal and Djokovic available for the last 2 rounds

2 games away of becoming the n°1, can't get any closer.

Haven't had any luck in the big tournaments since winning Wimbledon, it's unbelievable. In the last 30 days I had a real shot of winning Madrid/Rome/RG and nothing happened.

Would I have been #1 if I won the title? Lmao I didn't even know.

We both had Nadal available for the final, so I was gonna be n°1 anyway because both of us got 220 pts last year and right now I have 430 pts more than than you in the ranking.

And now I have to defend 250 points in Stuttgart and Krish nothing. So I need to defend the title there to then have a chance in Queens/Halle to become the n°1. Screw this :-D

You are also defending the title in Stuttgart and then you have to win at least 350 pts in Queens/Halle so you don't lose points. But then in Wimbledon you don't have many pts to defend. That could be your chance to reach the n°1.

So I'm back on top? Nice... even if only for a few weeks

FML.

Seems that it's going to change a lot the n°1 in the next 30/40 days. My chance was this tournament and I almost got it, now in the grass season like I said I have just a small window of opportunity. Don't think it's gonna happen so my next real shot at n°1 it's going to be in August/September.

Yes I think so too
I thought I would have positioned myself well after Indian Wells but have really really struggled since then, lots of blown opportunities to extend a lead

Congratulations to @I Am Finnish for making the RG final alongside @Locotus, and achieving a career-high ranking of #9, cracking the Top 10. Also moves up to #3 in a very hotly contested Race to London, with only 800 pts separating the Top 8 at the moment!

Looks like I'm guaranteed at least 2 more weeks at #1 with no points to defend in Stuttgart - lucked out quite a bit here and somehow managed to secure top spot despite a poor tournament and clay stretch

Career high for our reigning Wimbledon Champion @RS92 as well at #2, just a few points/games away from the #1 spot potentially

The next tournament is Stuttgart, which marks the beginning of our month-long grass court season. Thread is already up and play is supposed to get underway tomorrow
