ATP H2H: 3:3 tied
H2H on HC: 1:0 for Kyrgios
Last mutual match: 2016 Queen's Club Championships R1, Raonic won 6:7(5), 6:4, 6:4

Milos so far has been able to beat Nick on the grass and on the clay, but not on HC. Will it change tomorrow?

wow, Nick Kyrgios actually playing great defense and giving solid effort to outhustle a point from Raonic – what am I seeing?

Raobot serve looking as destructive as ever, though. Aces galore, big speeds (just dropped a 224km/h ace), and consistent. Seems he is outserving Nickie so far (22 aces to 10).

Milos looking good, only dropped one point on serve that set.

I do find matches like this so boring to watch though, ace ace ace ace ace.

Special K getting treatment on knee during set changeover – blabbering something that sounds like it's related to how it hurts, but couldn't really hear.

But in all seriousness, these two illustrate the difference between a pro athlete mindset/personality and its opposite.

Raonic is pure focus, no nonsense, clearly leaving no stones unturned in his preparations.

While Nick's talent is likely a tad overrated, I refuse to believe his pure tennis talent is lesser than Raonic's. But dedication and discipline can take you a long way.

(Now engaged in sarcastically applauding a line judge)

Raonic has been very impressive in general play, both from the baseline and at net. It might be the case of Kyrgios's lack of mobility flattering him, but he's looked very good to me.

Kyrgios...you lack Murray's courage. Look at how he went out yesterday, now take a look at you.

These fast (for todays standards) conditions certainly suit Raonic. They should suit Kyrgios aswell, if he had any desire

Didn't Kyrgios say Murray should have had a better career? The irony :D

Hey, at least he didn't tank, ey?

Just not quite good enough. Probably part health, part lacking prep, and part that he just isn't as good as we wanted to believe.

Well played by Raonic, he looks solid, serving amazingly. I fear he may go deep...

Expect Raonic to win that one, Stans game doesnt do great against Servebots.

Raonic could well be a dark horse for the title.

“Realistically I could be top 10. That’s a fact.”

“If I could produce [my best] every day, obviously I'd be one of the best in the world”

- Nick Kyrgios, only days ago

Jeeeeez, was expecting better than that. He has really gone backwards badly in the past 2 years, and I just can't see any potential catalyst for change either in him, nor around him in his support group etc.

On top of that, he is an encyclopedia of injuries waiting to happen.

Hopefully he can have a moment of clarity somewhere down the track, and change his mindset and approach, get a good coach, take fitness seriously etc

Seriously why did people thought he was great in the first place?

The technical limitations were obvious from day one.
