This may be the last match for Andy Murray, hopefully not, but it possibly can. Murray has had an amazing career, and I want to make a thread for all his matches at AO, in case it could be the last sadfully :(. (Ooops, can't delete poll options, but @tennisfan2015 realised I had forgot in 4 and 5 set poll options)

(Andy Murray = Legend)

One of the best opponents to test his level. If he loses in straights to RBA, even returning to a top 15 level would be too much.
Very encouraging however if he can take a set/s.

I wont. be watching I watch the replay in the morning. Any idea what time Djokovic opens up his match I know it's the following day
All and doom and gloom ahead of this match, perhaps justified, but personally I wouldn't be surprised if Andy hangs decently in this match and can make it sorta competitive.

He does still have some level on tap, the biggest problem is more that he cannot recover through a tournament. Might look more or less like his USO match with Verdasco. Or perhaps just wishful thinking and it's a blowout.

Sadly, I see this ending in Murray tears as he retires from the match.

RBA might as well be sticking a screwdriver into the Muzzard hip for how painful he is going to make this.
Bad Karma for Andy.
RBA is the less favorable type of player that Murray could have drawn in his current physical condition in a GS first round match to be played under scorching heat.
Bautista Agut is ruthless. He doesn't give a single crap that Murray is retiring, he will pummel him until the match is over, or until Murray's hips give out.
Why should a tennis pro not be ruthless? If Murray plays, it’s his responsibility.
Playing below his potential would be disrespectful.
