I don't know which part I'm more happy about as a Novak fan: the fact that he has a standalone record at AO with his #7, or that he just passed up Sampras on the all-time slam count list. Both are awesome achievements. The Big 3 are certainly the top 3 of the Open Era!

Great, masterful play from him tonight. Not the best I've seen him play, but it's up there.

Rafa didn't play nearly his best but he’s such a nice guy and champion. I hope Rafa can get back to playing as well as we know how he can play. Thank you Rafa for always staying classy.

Maybe not HC in general but in this era AO's surface (since 2008) seems to be Nadal worst to me as far as slams are concerned. His monster FH just doesn't seem to have as much bite as it does in other slams (including Wimbledon).
