I just realized Fed is not that far away from Nadal and Djokovic in ranking points. 1700 behind Djokovic, 3000 behind Nadal.

If somehow the stars align Fed could be no 1 after Australia, it's really a tournament or 2 of a difference.

Even just Australia, if Federer wins and Nadal/Djokovic both lose early that's like a 3500-4000 point swing.

Really Fed should make this his last title. His first was in Milan and by beating last year's two Milan finalist this weekend Fed is honary 2019 Milan champion as well so @BeatlesFan right, 104. ;)

I am also like you. A true fan of the Maestro, like you, I will also always hope for the best when it comes to Roger Federer

If they blink in Australia, Federer can roll over them by participating in the clay season with moderate success.

8-)

Nobody has a slice today even 25% as great as Roger's. I really wish he would use it more often against everyone except Rafa. Remember he sliced Djokovic to death in Paris last year in an almost winning effort.
That too, given the sting on his slice is considerably less potent compared to that with pro staff 90...
Slice, Flat, volley, net, chip, 1+2 etc. Are the tennis skills missing from almost every nextgen guy. They just know topspin bashing.

If we look at points since Miami this year. Fred 3920, Theim 3890.;) 5 might happen all too soon, but a tall task for Tim.
