Who wins?

On his home ground Fed is just unstoppable. Playing great tennis this week again like he turned back the clock by 10 years at least.

That injury cost him a golden opportunity tbh.
He needs to figure out the night matches at Ashe though.
He'll be 39 the next time he plays NY. He doesn't need to figure anything out because we shouldn't expect him to win that event anymore either way. Even in good conditions it's a slow hard court at the end of the year.

So Tsitsipas can beat Djokovic but can't beat a 38 years old Federer? As I said many times, for some reason players are just too afraid of Federer. I don't believe current Federer right now is a better play than current Djokovic. But he is much better against the field.

Roger could retire with 30 slams and I'll still be thinking about those MPs 50 years from now.

crazy how the worst loss for Fed fans came when he was 37,85 years old

I’ve said it before

unless he plays Novak in Wimby final 2020, saves 2 consecutive CPs on Novak’s serve and then wins, nothing can ever heal that wound

Fed is kicking the tar out of Tsitispas. The only reason why it's this close is because Fed is only 2/8 on break point opportunities. Meanwhile, Tsitsipas hasn't even gotten one break point opportunity.

Stat of the day so far:
Return points won: Federer 19, Tsitsipas 7

Well, they probably would fade from my mind if people didn't keep bringing them up.

Ironically, if he had won it would have faded from your emotions by now.

Nope.

Just imagine this place if Fed had won. His haters would achieve the highest level of saltiness.

That ship has sailed though.

James Blake just said, "Roger told me he's not improving anymore, that's impossible. I'm just trying to get back to what I once was." All those clueless Djokovic-Nadal fans who think he's "peak" need to take notice.
It would help if Roger actually said that in an official interview and not behind the scenes to an old friend. But I get why he doesn't.

Tsitsipas: Wants to beat Fed playing long rallies

Federer: *doesn't play long rallies*
