Fognini is still winning the match.
Probably. I still remember the disgusting match against Shapovalov here 2 years ago.

Nadal did absolutely EVERYTHING he could to lose that match. The fact that he had a 3-0 lead in final set TB...
One of the worst matches in terms of tactics I’ve ever seen from Rafa.

Agreed. Year after year, Canada and Paris Indoor are usually the weakest tournament when it comes to tennis quality and attendance from top players.
Last year’s Canada Masters was one of the best I’ve seen in a couple of years. Many great matches and the story of Tsitsipas murdering top 10 players one after another.

Fognini is still winning the match.

Are you even watching the match?

Alright, dude. Anything is possible. But in this matchup things are really not like they are supposed to be.
Every ATG throughout history has at least one lower ranked player that causes them problems whenever they meet, even if they end up winning the majority of the matches - Fognini just so happens to be Nadal's. What's the big deal?

I don't remember Federer having such an opponent.

What a strange match. Nadal was making an absolute joke of himself in the 1st set. Like put there Jack Sock instead of Fognini and he’d probably win the first set 6-4.

Looks like fognini crap his shorts after the first set. What a beatdown. How do you say i crapped my shorts in italian? Ho incartato i pantanloncini .
