Uniqlo really makes ugly outfits, except for Nole. In terms of ugliness, Nishi and Fed's outfits can rival Berdych's H&M flower dresses from a few years back.

Yes and the y'all had to break these Nisha Corey will have to come back tomorrow then it's going to be raining on Tuesday and Wednesday

you know i have a soft spot for sascha,i really am rooting for him, well unless its fed, but i swear he tests my damn patience. someone tell him bo5 doesn't mean he needs to play all 5 sets.

Haha - do you think that's the problem? At some point someone tells him this, and he goes, ah *that's* why I haven't been doing well in the slams. :D

Hoping Paire shows up and shuts Nishikori out of the next 2 sets to advance. I think either player is absolutely toast vs Nadal, but maybe Paire as home favourite could do some damage? Or could Nishikori take us back to Madrid 2014? Doubt it, but one can dream.

and they're going to be increasing chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon so Nadal might get screwed and not finish this match will Federer of course and get on and off the court in 5 minutes

Blip the RG organizers. Blip them.
The tophalf doesn't necessarily played first whoever is #1. Whichever half Fedr is in plays first; that's ALWAYS been the case, IMO. In this case, it's also because Sasha is in the top half and he was still playing in Geneva when RG started.

"bad personality" was an awkward formulation of it. What she has is an entitled attitude- slash- diva complex. Even Fed is humble compared to Serena and that's saying a lot.
On the other hand Thiem has never won a slam, so he can't expect to be treated on an equal footing with Serena by the media.

What's the tv schedule for FeDal? I'm debating whether to be late to work but I don't have tennis channel. I'm hoping FeDal will be on NBC.

Depends on the weather plus the WTA semi-final has been moved to Friday so you'll have to wait for that plus it's supposed to rain so your guess is as good as anyone's

If they didnt play the kids matches, was it possible to play/complete the mens QFs? How many hours of play did they have?

Weather is not looking great on Friday I wonder if they're going to have a shotgun Friday semi-final at the same time or they should just postpone the semi-finals up front ahead of time till Saturday and then postpone the final till Monday make sure they do a shotgun both semi-finals on at the same time

I don’t think there is anyway they schedule it to play on Monday. What if Sunday has 4-5 hours of sunlight in between the rain and then Monday is completely rained off and they have to move it to Tuesday. They will look like idiots. Although the way they schedule things they look like idiots everyday anyway so maybe no one would notice.

I wonder why they don't start earlier in the day. You also need at least 2 roof-covered courts in this ultra-scientific era.

French Open chiefs fear 'disaster scenario' as rain set to affect Nadal, Konta, Federer

FRENCH OPEN tournament director Guy Forget has admitted moved the men’s final to Monday is being considered amid fears of further disruption to the schedule on due to rain.

Play was abandoned for the day at the French Open just before 5pm local time after heavy rain in Paris.

The bottom half quarter-final match in the men’s and women’s draw were due to be played today but will now take place on Thursday.
It meant the likes of Novak Djokovic, Simona Halep, Madison Keys and Dominic Thiem faced a day of frustration as they waited to see if their matches could be played.

The women’s semi-finals were due to be played on Thursday with the men’s on Friday then the women’s final is set for Saturday and the men’s on Sunday.
But with further rain forecast on Friday, the schedule could be facing further changes and the possibility of a Monday final.
Back in 2012, Rafael Nadal beat Novak Djokovic in a Monday final after it was held over.
“We saw that historically we can play men’s finals on Monday,” Forget said.

“We remember the final between Djokovic and Nadal [in 2012]. We can think of the same thing for women in terms of disaster scenario.
“That’s not what we want to do. But as you said, some girls might be playing three days in a row. First of all, it’s a very difficult task for one or two of them.
“Most of these girls have been waiting all of their lives to play such a big match, and to actually be playing a match of that magnitude with already two matches in their legs is a difficult task. If we have to move the final the following day, you know, it’s something that could happen.”
With the prospect of having to play Thursday, Friday and then a final on Sunday, world No 1 Djokovic is at a major disadvantage.

And ESPN analyst Patrick McEnroe told Forbes that Djokovic and the other men’s players in the bottom half face a tough stretch.
"We need to see how matches play out the next two days, but the first thing I thought was this could be a huge disadvantage for the top half of the draw finalist," McEnroe said.

"That player will have to play three physical best-of-5 matches on clay in four days."
