If Friday is also bad weather, they're going to need to have Super Semi Saturday and Fantastic French Final Sunday with the women and men playing back to back each day.

If Joe/Zedzilla & Tim/Catching off with smart play marathon matches and also the SF a marathon match

The final should move to monday

I predict Fed-Nadal match will be completed as scheduled tomorrow.
Then poor weather conditions with heavy rain and extreme wind will force Joco-Tim match to be moved to Sunday.
30 mins after Joco beats Tim in a 5 hour, 5 setter, he will have to play the finals against Nadal.

The heart-wrenching moment French tennis player's son rushes out to console him after defeat in the French Open… leaving him AND his opponent in floods of tears
  • Nicolas Mahut was defeated in four sets by Leonardo Mayer on Friday
  • The French star had never gone beyond the third round at Roland Garros
  • The 37-year-old missed out again and was left in tears on court Simonne Mathieu
  • But he was consoled by his son Natanel, leaving the crowd in floods of tears

Hopefully the WTA matches are done and dusted within an hour tomorrow. Couldn't care less about the winners when you got 2 big matches coming after.

Men are playing both SF on PC. Women are playing on SL and SM.

SF lineup: Timmie & The Old Guard.

Average age 32-something off the top of my head.

Here it is to the nearest month, as of tomorrow (Friday 7 June):

Djokovic = 32 years, 1 month [to be precise, 32 years, 16 days, but that's just over half a month]
Nadal = 33 years, 0 months
Thiem = 25 years, 9 months
Federer = 37 years, 10 months

Average = 32 years, 2 months [it would still be this even if we counted Djokovic as 32 years, 0 months]

Pretty accurate estimate on my part but first I had to whittle away all the “slight” exaggerations of agelesserer’s current time on Earth.

Well if you look at the medium is 32.5

@stringertom I'm sorry for once against underestimating Federer's age. I forgot that 970 is basically 1,000, because it's closer to 1,000 than it is to 900, so Federer is now 1,000 years old. And that's basically 1,000,000. Pretty impressive from the old man to be in the semis of his weakest Slam at 1,000,000 years old. GOAT.

In which universe is it ok to let one half of the draw play on consecutive days between QF and F in a GS event?

Pretty bad scheduling.

all four quarterfinal should have been scheduled and rained out appropriately on Wednesday and all four quarter finals should have been played on Thursday and both semi-finals today should have been postponed until tomorrow French organization sucks

The French Open - the only slam where you can somehow manage to start a day early, have so many good players in week 2 and yet end up giving us this sh*tshow.

Even an epic finale (which is nigh on impossible) can't save what has been a horrendous slam.

Thiem went easy on the organizers. Its pathetic that the final of such a big event was not played on equal footing.
