2019 Grand Slam winners predictions

The slam winners in 2019 shall be as follows:

AO: Novak Djokovic
FO: Dominic Thiem
W: Roger Federer
US: Borna Coric

It shall be the year when the youngsters finally make their name known. No longer shall only 30+ men rule over our sport.

Agreed upon by all objective tennis observers.

Nope. Do not believe in the stars. My reasoning is this; his confidence is back. He is playing very well.Better than anybody out there at present. Fedr cannot carry on more than one big match in BO5. If Nadl recovers soon I think Fedr will have to play both Nadl and Novk to win a GS. It simply ain't happening. So, I see Novk with the current form as No.1 to win AO. And the same may apply to FO as Nadl won't be 100%. If that happens 2019 is the perfect year for Novk to seal the Slam year as he will be defending Wimby and USO. I'd like to see Stan stepping up but it won't happen. Murray is cleaning the gutters around his home. The only other "threat" I see is Thiem at FO. With Novk and Nadl around Fedr is finish with GS. 20 GS done and dusted.

NOTE - If Novk remains healthy and injury free, of course.
 
I think Djokovic wins the first 3, probably beating Nadal in the FO final and possibly AO final.
Wimbledon, I don't know who the hell will go all the way to face him, but hes a strong favourite there regardless.
I think he has a tremendous year then tails off a little and misses out on the Calendar slam in NY.
That will be the toughest to predict, so ill say Thiem for fun. He looked very good this year.
 
LOL @ all those forecasting a CYGS for Novak Djokovic.

Next year is the 50th anniversary of the feat last being accomplished in the men's game.

The man to repeat that feat is surely not Novak Djokovic.
 
AO: Joe Kovic or Knee-dal (probably not)
FO: Knee-dal or Joe Kovic (probably not)
W: Joe Kovic or Knee-dal (here’s to hoping)
Realslam: El Shapo or GOATrev or KNEE-DAL
USO: Joe Kovic or Knee-dal or Del Petro
 
Honestly? Novak wins all of them except possibly USO as he struggles there in late stages. I could see Potro winning his 2nd there.
 
Predicting all 4 is too much far away for me. I just hope Novak wins AO, we'll see what happens further.

Sabalenka, Giorgi, Ashley, WangQ, Bertens, Kasatkina. I hope all of them will go far in slams in 2019.

Going by heart not by brain (But do think this what will happen)

AO : If Federer doesn't meet Nadal and Djokovic back to back

FEDERER def DJOKOVIC in 4

Else
Djokovic def Federer in final

FO : Need I discuss this ?

But this one will be hotly contested Thiem and Djokovic will provide stern test .Even Zverev,Delpo,Wawa,Murray(Very hopefully for last two) might be dangerous in early rounds.
NADAL to surpass them one last time.


WB : DJOKOVIC slaughters the field as Federer finally enters a permanent decline losing in early rounds.

USO : Djokovic vs Nadal F winner decides fate of slam count no.2
 
Djokovic will end up YE No 1 in 2019. Whatever it takes. IMHO, he will be a multi slam winner both in 2019, and 2020.

French Open- Djokovic
Wimbledon- ?? no idea, but it wont be 1 of the big 3 I am guessing
U.S Open- Nadal

Australian Open- Serena
French Open- Kerber
Wimbledon- Serena
U.S Open- Osaka
 
As long as people have Nole winning 2 majors, I can "like" each of their posts! It only makes sense since he's on a role and is as confident as he's ever been! Another Nole-Slam would be nice because he really needs another AO & FO; the AO to push past Federer and the FO to round out his career! :p ;) :)
 
Note that even if I were to pick the same player as favourite for each of the four slams, it wouldn't mean I'd predict a CYGS.

For example, suppose I'd estimate a chance of 80% to win each of the tournaments (and 80% is huuuge): the chance to achieve all four of them would be 41% - which actually would mean that a CYGS is not predicted.
