I just knew Kyrgios would fall in Djokovic's quarter! Man what I wouldn't give for Novak to smash that annoying f*cker right off the court. Oh tennis gods if you can hear me now.......
I've been critical of Nick before, but isn't this a little harsh?

Did he beat you at CoD or Fortnite a few too many times or something?

A mediocre Fed in 2013 was down a break in the final set against Stan. It's not like Stan hasn't been a threat on hard courts at all, the guy did have multiple MPs against Fed at the WTF, pushed him to 5 sets at the AO.
Wawrinka has as much chance of beating Federer on a non clay surface as I do.

Yeah sure...

ideally if fed is on form and given that it is hard court, fed shouldn't have issues. I do remember the first set of IW 2017 being slightly tricky, if i remember stan might have had a few chances to do soemthing in either of the sets or both. Although i kind of rme at being dismissive because a lot of is dependent on fed's form and someone like stan can be tricky imo if fed is off. I think a lot of people are expecting something based off the last two rounds in dubai

Kei looked injured at Dubai; would not be surprised if he pulls out or loses before QF.

i saw a pic of his whole crew in Indian Wells and they seemed to be in jubiliant mood. Compared to the other quarters, Nishikori is the toughest .

Cilic seems to be out of form , so that should make it easier for Kei

I just chatted on the phone with Toni. He said he has texted Ellison to make sure Kyrgios lands in Fed's draw on or before QF and takes him out.

Not bad, Tio still did a good job keeping Ralph's path clear. Sure there was a mixup with Kyrgios landing in Djoker's draw instead of Fed's but Fed has Stan.

On relook, Djokovic's draw is in fact not so easy after the first 2 rounds

- Kyrgios, Monfils, Coric, Zverev to get Nadal
In Joe Kovic’s 11-player section there are four players who have won a title since he last struck a ball in tournament play. If either Albot or Londero qualify and get one or both the slots in Section 1 that will be five/six. Add in a finalist (Herbert) in that section too. Evans could also wind up in that mix. It is a minefield.

This is patently not true.
Wawrinka has actually won a slam on hard court; you remember that right? Methinks you playin...
Not to mention the AO 2017 SF which was sooooooo close. But Federer should be the absolute favorite, given his H2H domination of Wawrinka on hard.

Top seed @DjokerNole is in the top quarter of the draw. His projected @BNPPARIBASOPEN draw (based on ATP Rankings): R1: Bye R2: Qualifier R3: (31) Kyrgios R4: (15) Cecchinato QF: (7) Thiem SF: (3) Zverev F: (2) Nadal

Novak got Kyrgios, but the rest of his seeds are a bit of a joke.
But it could also be eg
Kyrgios-Monfils-Coric-Tsitsipas

It's not an easy draw tbh.
