Edited my post cause the Wikipedia draw is slightly mixed up.

Don't think this will be the tournament where Mugu turns things around.
Potential Bencic Osaka match seems interesting.

Interesting that Kenin and Wang play in the first round, right after they were in the Acapulco final (Wang won 2-6, 6-3, 7-5). A couple curious potential second-rounders: V. Williams vs. Kvitova, and Azarenka vs. S. Williams.

Why does it seem like this happens way more than it statistically should?

That is crazy indeed! Just happened to Cuevas and Auger Aliassime in the ATP Tour. The same day they played the semis in Rio, the draw in Sao Paulo decided they would play first round there. Nothing will ever beat Mahut and Isner in Wimbledon playing two times in a row after the longest match ever lol

Osaka, Halep, Kvitová, Sloane and Plíšková are all in contention for the World Number 1 ranking.

Pliskova would need to win the title and have Osaka lose her first match.

Osaka leads by 331 points, #2 Kvitova is in a decent spot to become #1 for the first time in her career.

Don't know what's going on but Kenin taking a MTO for her leg... 2 games after Wang had taken one.Kenin was up 3-0 in third, now down 4-3.

Vika is finding her stride. I wonder what kind of racquet she is using? I thought I counted 18x19 pattern.

And she takes the first. Someone get Lapko more towels, she can't handle the desert!

Happy to see Mugu playing doubles. On the schedule for tomorrow with Carla.

Really hope she finds her game.

I say Anisiamova will upset Naomi. It is her time now. She has improved her tennis by 1000 %. She will break Serena's slam record

Stosur said she's rarely doing any weight and never work on bicep related training.

Not true:

SUPER SAM'S WORKOUT SECRETS

Outside of tennis practice, Sam also cross-trains with boxing and swimming.
Her favourite gym exercises include:
- Squats
- Leg press
- Jumping lunges
- Seated box jumps
- Inverted rows
- Olympic deadlifts
- Battle rope waves
- Medicine ball slams

In an interview with ESPN last year Stosur, the 2011 US Open champion, said she often got stopped at the gym by women asking her how she got her killer biceps.

'It's always about my arms and how I got them,' she said,

'But there's really no secret. I work out in the gym, and I've hit millions and millions of tennis balls in my lifetime, so I guess I'm lucky that they've gone that way.'

Off the court Stosur does a mixture of gym, swimming and boxing workouts to stay in shape.

She works out at least once a day - more if she's not playing tennis - but insists she doesn't spend the majority of her time lifting weights and makes sure she gets a full body workout.

A video posted to her Facebook page earlier this month shows the 20th seed doing squats, jumping lunges, medicine ball slams, inverted rows, battle rope waves, Olympic lifts and seated box jumps.

Did anyone see the Flipkens tweener? Crazy point.

Bouchard keeps fighting but cannot close the game and get the break. Even at love-40, Flipkens still wins her serve!
