Since Paris 2016 it's been tight. Cilic up a break final set in Paris in November, also again in Cincinnati I think.
ATP H2H: 17-2 for Djoker
Masters H2H: 6-1 for Djoker
H2H on the clay: 2-0 for Djoker
Jubilee 20th mutual match rivalry of two tennis players, who originating from countries the former Yugoslavia.
There's just something so very uninviting about watching Cilic on clay...
Disgraceful. No evening times for Djokovic at all!

Yeah Tiafoe played so wellLol, and people are writing that Nadal has an ideal draw?
Fritz, Chardy and a walkover is some hell of a draw for sure. Federer clearly has the toughest draw, but Djokovic's isn't tougher than Nadal's by any means.Yeah Tiafoe played so well

I guess I missed the moment when Thiem beat Federer. Also, if Zverev finds his form (and looks like he starts to find it) then he might be just as dangerous as Thiem. Should I remind about last year's clay season? He didn't just beat in form Thiem in Madrid 2018, he destroyed him.Thiem in the SF, nuff said.

Ann Perkins!Toughest masters QFs since 2009 confirmed... For Cilic
I'm sure he will be on the practice courts.Well that's too bad for Marin but as a Djokovic fan I'm a bit disappointed. The same thing happened here(at the same stage) two years ago when Nishikori withdrew and we saw how Nadal wiped the floor with Novak the next day. If Thiem gets through his QF as he should, I expect him to do exactly the same tomorrow. Walkovers aren't always beneficial to players, especially those who aren't playing very well and need matches to iron out the kinks in their game.
I'm sure he will but it just isn't the same. Anyway let's wait and see how the rest of the tournament pans out.I'm sure he will be on the practice courts.
we can remember that QF at the RG 11 as well. Walkovers aren't always beneficial to players,.

Right, in other words Federer doesn't deserve any credit for playing a great match and beating probably the best ever version of Djokovic on clay.we can remember that QF at the RG 11 as well
My Austrian prince of course.
Isnt Tim a tougher match up?My Austrian prince of course.
Yes but I'd rather Djokovic compete against the very best clay courters in the world to see where his true level is heading into RG. And because I like both players it's a win-win whoever gets through to the final.Isnt Tim a tougher match up?
