Federe is my number two ranked player on clay behind Thiem. Given his absence from clay and the new backhand making him a stats feast, Federe is my 2nd favorite player on clay. Madrid conditions favor Federer over Thiem; a loss here does not mean hope is lost at RG for Thiem.
