Please put some dates in the first post. Thanks for the thread.
(31st to 5th I see).

Also if yuo can find out which channels this is showing in India, would be wonderful.

Doesn't say what the problem is. Wonder if he will be fit to play the AO?

He played, and won, DC2018 finals so I'm 'guessing' that he'd rather sit out the extra week to have the needed rest/prep time bc most others didn't play DC finals. AO is more important, and he can always play an extra 250s in Australia if he wants even more match play.

The match has started, Ivo just served three aces in his opening service game to level the score at 1-1. Big man electing to receive first.

Yikes, FAA. Such a strong start to the match as well. A complete lack of 1st serves in his third service game of the match, FAA making four unforced errors to gift the service break! Pressing just a little there....

3-2, Karlovic.

Farking ridiculous accuracy coupled with power from Dr Ivo, unreal serving into each and every corner. Convincing game to consolidate, 4-2.

FAA doing a good job on 2nd serve return though, maybe not winning majority of points (unsure), but is picking them up nicely.

Composed serve plus one combinations from FAA, quick aggressive footwork and is there to take time away. Not like Ivo even tries to defend though...

He's played a good 1st set so far, only the one sloppy service game. One more chance for the break. Ivo up 5-4.

Yeah, not much you can do there unfortunately. Quick love hold for Ivo, four serves not making their way back over the net. 6/4.

On the far side Ivo has been content at serving down the middle on deuce court, closer side it's been out wide on the deuce side. Both cheat codes of course. Interesting preference though.

Ivo holds from 15-30 down, 2-2, 2nd set.

Why can't Dr. Ivo have a slightly off day today like his Challenger days end of last year? Crazy accurate serving.
But what a sight it is though. Nothing like watching Kyrgios walk up to the baseline all willy nilly and bomb down aces seemingly without a care in the world. Maybe it's just personnel preference.... I enjoy the angles he creates coupled with power a lot more than watching Nick constantly bomb down 135 mph serves down the middle.

Great dipping 2nd serve return from FAA, sets himself up for the forehand pass. 15-30.

Just didn't get a hold of that 2nd serve cleanly, Ivo there for the high forehand volley. First signs of frustration in this return game from FAA. 30-30.

Snuffed out by quality 2nd serves nonetheless. 4-4, 2nd set.

Ivo has 2 BPs here, though he has applied more pressure in this return game than the break in the 1st set..... FAA missing...

FAA will be glad to know that Karlovic is the oldest top100ish atm, meaning he'll retire soon while Felix is only 18. :P
