I know that almost all of the players are sponsored and are obligated to wear the gear. With the Nike sponsored players, why do we keep seeing matches where both players have the same attire? The new Nike line as a lot of color schemes, but yet we've seen two players dressed almost identical. Didn't they call each other before the match?:giggle:

Halep as #2 doesn't even get the Grandstand and instead assigned to court #1. While the much lower ranked USA players get the Stadium (Isner[7], Serena[10], Osuigwe(WC), Collins [25], Venus [43], Stephens[4]). I'm telling myself, "What do you expect?" :D

Even Kyrgios gets the Grandstand. Kyrgios matches attracts crowds - hopefully he doesn't tank - again.

You know for sure you're in a tournament in US, and tennis, like many other pro tournaments, is an entertainment business.

I guess nothing new here. Moving on ...

And you know you are in the US if you try to use Tennis Channel. Nationalism rears its ugly head . . .

Yup, for a brief second I tried to work out why I’m watching Anismova v Kontaveit and not #1 Osaka v Yickmayer and then I remember Amanda is American. Can’t help but think they wouldn’t do that to Djokovic though.

Osaka throws her racket on the ground after a bad challenge. She'll serve to stay in the set again.

Not liking the negative energy from her today, she's been in control most of the match, no need to stress out now.
