Unfortunately, both Thiem and Nishikori have withdrawn. They were replaced by Taylor Fritz and Damir Dzumhur respectively. Roberto Bautista Agut and Guido Pella draw in as the #7 and #8 seeds.

Ah that's a shame. What reasons did they cite? Hopefully Thiem just needs a bit more time to get over the RG final.

That's a hell of a draw for Roger imo.

Millman, then probably Tsonga, Gasquet, Coric then the final (Zverev/Khachanov/whoever else comes out of the bottom half).

Yeah, looking at the players in the field it really couldn’t get any worse. Having said that, if he can’t navigate through this draw - even though it’s Bo3 grass and anything can happen - he ain’t doing much damage at Wimbledon.

Depends on the results from Halle/Queens. Zverev and/or Tsitsipas could pass either if they do well (and Anderson does poorly).
You’re right but chances are Zverev doesn’t win the title or reach the final and Anderson goes further than Tsitsipas

Maybe, but there's the added complication of the transition from clay.

Millman lost to Brown in Stuttgart, so he probably won't be such a danger - but a) I thought that at the USO and b) if Fed has a slow start and Millman has gotten used to the grass, he could steal a set.

Then he plays Tsonga, who has a bunch of matches under his belt in singles & doubles at Stuttgart. Then possibly Gasquet who is at least in the semis this weekend - ok he never wins against Fed but still it isn't an easy draw if it happens. And Coric in the semis, who beat him last year and is again playing well on grass.

Sure, if Fed plays his usual grass court game, he should be fine. But plenty of banana skins if he takes some time to adjust from clay. He didn't have to deal with the transition in the last years.

Looks more like a 250 field if I am honest - I don’t rate Zverev as a Top 20 right now.
The poor field definitely has more to do with the 2 & 4 seeds pulling out. It's hard enough already for Halle to have a strong field when Queens is taking place concurrently.

I booked ticket on Fri. Fedr'd better get into the last 8 round .
PS: will he play 1st round on Mon or Tue?

I see Roger is getting all the votes but realistically doesn't Thiem, Coric and Nishikori have a decent shot at taking down the GOAT ? They all gave problems for roger in the recent past ............

Coric beat Fed in the final last year so has to have a chance if he plays again at that level. Thiem and Nishikori have both withdrawn so are no longer factors for consideration (not much anyway in the case of Nishikori).

They are so afraid of the GOAT so they just run away now ??? why not just give this one to the GOAT and go to Wimbledon ? and why isn't Novak playing ? is he too scared to face roger as well ?

Thiem cited fatigue and Nishikori an upper arm injury. Don't get me started on why Djokovic isn't playing.

Sorry I haven't updated the OP, guys. I'm having a weird issue with my internet where certain sites randomly won't load or I flat out can't access, TT being one of them. I'm sitting at Tim Horton's having coffee and I can access everything just fine.

Anyway, I'll post the draws and any other relevant stuff momentarily.

Off topic, but does anyone else have a problem with the toolbar getting in the way at the top of the ATP Tour site? It's preventing me from accessing several functions.

There are faults with the website. I find if you keep refreshing it the toolbar will descend properly after a few seconds or so. But I agree, it can be a nuisance and needs fixing.

Presuming he gets enough recovery in, you have to fancy Berrettini's chances in the bottom half of the draw after his title win in Stuttgart.
