This set is Thiem's last chance imo. It's either a 3 set or a 4 set win from Nadal depending on this set.

Nadal really doesn't look like a 33 year old dude there, other than the abundant sweating.

33 is not that old if you keep yourself fit. I'm 34 now but I'm still as fast as I was in my 20s. The only change I noticed is that now my body takes more time to recover from excessive physical activities.

I think everyone knew that first set was absolutely critical for him. You can't play that well against Rafa and have nothing to show for it, because the odds of keeping it up are very low.
