Fed did well for the first two sets and with a bit more fortune he could have grabbed the 2nd. He played pretty well and stood up to Nadal. Even though the end result is inevitable, would have been fun to see a 1 set all situation wich I think Fed could have gotten. From that standpoint it's sad the match is ending this way.

I hurt myself today
To see if I still feel
I focus on the pain
The only thing that's real
The needle tears a hole
The old familiar sting
Try to kill it all away
But I remember everything
What have I become
My sweetest friend
Everyone I know
Goes away in the end
And you could have it all
My empire of dirt
I will let you down
I will make you hurt
I wear this crown of thorns
Upon my liars chair
Full of broken thoughts
I cannot repair
Beneath the stains of time
The feelings disappear
You are someone else
I am still right here
What have I become
My sweetest friend
Everyone I know
Goes away in the end
And you could have it all
My empire of dirt
I will let you down
I will make you hurt
If I could start again
A million miles away
I will keep myself
I would find a way

Nevermind Fed fans, plenty to look forward to at Wimbledon with Federer playing at this level when he can play on a proper surface. At least I got something out of this loss. Put £100 on Nadal to win in straight sets for £60 profit.

I said before the match the mission was to avoid bread. It's on a knife-edge as to whether this will be accomplished.

This is what im saying. people said he had no chance before the match, his own fans, yet they are on here ******** that hes playing garbage.

Is that not what yous expected?

I think in some respects people were hoping Federer would play a smarter tactical match. I was expecting that, and it had me worried as a Nadal fan. But he hasn't really been "allowed" to control the play patterns.

Nadal has excelled in incredibly hostile conditions and I think Roger has not had as many chances to play first strike tennis having been on the back foot more than he'd expected to be. In the beginning he was hoodwinked into grinding waaay too much (imo).

To be honest when I heard it would be damp and heavy with high winds I figured Nadal would be disadvantaged more but he dealt with it well. To be fair, Federer and Nadal have always both been great in windy conditions (imo).

Needless to say once the sun came out Nadal just sprang to life and it was party time - using all the angles of the PC court like a puppet master and pulling off the freaky stuff that only he can do.

OK.

Maybe if we all focus really hard and wish for the greatest comeback in Tennis history... it could happen?

What you say guys?

That's pretty good bet. In here you have to put 150$ for 15$ profit - for just win. As for straights it was 1,75. Pretty good.

Easier said than done. There’s a reason the guy’s 11-0 in finals at the french. This is his turf like the Aussie was Djokovic.

I agree with you in principal.

The only problem is that Nadal is no longer the player he was when he won all those 11 finals. A pale shadow of the former player he used to be.

Let's see. But I think the best opportunity for Novak to win the title and get a Nole slam. This is not the Nadal of 2012 2013 that gave Novak fits.

Fed should just keep this match in perspective. It's his own fault if he lets this affect him on grass and HC. Nadal has played way too well today, and Fed never really stood a chance. I hope he actually believes that so he can put it behind him easily.

Yikes, think we’re looking at a breadstick third set. Honestly, I thought Fed would grab a set but I can’t say I’m too surprised. Nadal is just too ridiculously good on clay. I’m ready for him to not be so dominant lol. Then the clay season might be more exciting again!
