The Argentine assault has killed Djokovic. His legs were looking like lead yesterday as I mentioned during the match, and said I highly doubt he will recover having less time before the final.

Yeah the man who looked fresh as a daisy in the Wimbledon final after a 6 hr semifinal suddenly is too tired after 2 best of 3 matches... Nice story

i mean ofcourse the opponent on the other side does make a difference but saying that the back to back matches may have taken a toll is not an excuse. also the irony here considering which camp is the king of excuses. i thought nadal was just an injured person who plays tennis or that has never lost healthy or w/e bs comes out of toni nadal/his camp and his fans

Del Po a total non-factor for a year and then wrecks what should have been a great final. I still think Novak can get into this in the second set.

Novak can’t be tired now. He’s never tired and had plenty of rest after his Diego match. Besides, the match has just started

Nadal is extremely sharp and Djokovic looks tired, he cant keep up with the pace Nadal is producing. This could be a reverse of the AO bloodbath. Djokovic would have to be at his best here to keep it competitive and I dont think he can do that

I highly doubt it. I did say this would happen today.

This match is Nadal's to lose, and I don't see that happening. As soon as the Schwartzman match went 3 this match was effectively over. And as I type this Djoker is throwing up moonballs to try anything to change it up.

None of that is an excuse for Djoker's potential loss though. It's one of the main reason Nadal might still be favoured at RG. He's always been better than Djokovic against the field on clay. If Djokovic goes through a few wars of attrition at RG before he plays Nadal, Nadal is going to win RG again.

Great defence from Nadal there, Djokovic had him on a string until the last couple of shots.

Ding. Ding. We have a winner here.

And today is illustrating that.

lol at anyone saying Djokovic isn't literal garbage this match.

i mean i think its hilarious that it comes from nadal fans when you have his uncle basically say he is an injured person who just happens to play tennis, like what kind of bs and insult to the people whose careers have literally been thwarted/stopped by injuries. nadal isn;t one of them and this is the narrative that nadal fans eat and use to woobify him and someone pointing out that hey novak isn't at his best is bs?
