2019 TTW NFL Survivor/SDL League

Can you win on a technicality
No. But you have some “go big” options on this list:

LA Rams at Seattle (TNF)

Arizona at Cincinnati

Buffalo at Tennessee

Chicago vs Oakland (London)

Tampa Bay at New Orleans

Minnesota at NY Giants

NY Jets at Philadelphia

Baltimore at Pittsburgh

New England at Washington

Jacksonville at Carolina

Atlanta at Houston

Denver at LA Chargers

Green Bay at Dallas

Indianapolis at Kansas City (SNF)

Cleveland at San Francisco (MNF)

Whew,
Those Lions almost took advantage of a sloppy KC which scares me with KC playing the Colts. But its at arrowhead and on Sunday night and they should bounce back. But we have Andrew Luck Ewing Theory potential at play.

We can only pick a team to win twice right?

If so I will use my last NE win and pick them over WAS by 17 :)

You can only pick a team to win once. You can only pick against a team 3 times.

So if you've already used New England and Kansas City, you can't use them again.

Minnesota seems like the obvious pick from that list given how awful the Giants defense is and the fact that they have no Barkley.

Then again, the Rams at home seemed like a no-brainer against the Bucs that lost (at home) to the same Giants team with a rookie QB.

Pretty pathetic showing from the Rams. Clearly they were not the best team in the NFC last year as evidenced by their miserable performance in the Super Bowl and their absolute gift of the most blatantly obvious PI that wasn't called.

Well that sucks. I was gonna pick the eagles but what fun is picking the same as the other guy in a 1vs1 situation. But outside of that game I don't see any others that are gimmies outside of NE who I used already.
NO defense seems legit and Jameis is a human turnover machine but he did just light it up for 55. Can he do it twiced? risky.
If trubisky was a smidge better I would feel pretty good about the bears beating the raiders at home :) but that would go against my no Thursday or London games.

So I'm goona pick on Jville vs Carolina where we have two disregarded outta college Air Raid QBs going against each other. Minshew has Fournette to help establish play action, but then Allen as McAffrey to bail him out. Outside of that I don't know much about either team except Minshew has a sweet stache and his dad was in the stands and looked freaking mad and sorta jacked.

So I'll take Jacksonville by 17. I don't why 17, but the rest of them I went 17 and it hasn't failed me yet :)

Worst case Allen lights it up and Newton could be playing in buffalo next year. Either way I'm happy.

Rams are so useless

Dude even I’m salty about that honestly. LA didn’t need another team and their fans are so blase. La rams home gms usually filled with the other teams fans lol
LAC plays 16 road games. The Rams actually draw a bit of a home crowd due to their roots from 40 years of playing there. Also, it’s hard to attract a crowd into a stadium on the edge of Watts so that will change next season.

Agree...Kroenke got his wish by paying his fellow owners handsomely in relocation fees and St. Loo got hosed but the city has a bad track record supporting pro football. The Cardinals left for Arizona in the 80’s and the Rams bubble as a strong draw was about a decade long before dropping attendance averaged 50K in an 80K dome.

Good job Yoss

3 lost fumbles don't bode well for my man when Foles comes back. Jags probably trade him for some picks at some point now. He is worthy of starting in the NFL.

At least we get to start it up. I took a chance because this thread would have sucked with two guys picking the same teams every week.

Week 6 Schedule (Week 1 of 2.0)

Carolina vs Tampa (London)

Seattle at Cleveland

Houston at Kansas City

Washington at Miami

Philadelphia at Minnesota

New Orleans at Jacksonville

Cincinnati at Baltimore

San Francisco at LA Rams

Atlanta at Arizona

Tennessee at Denver

Dallas at NY Jets

Pittsburgh at LA Chargers (SNF)

Detroit at Green Bay (MNF)

I jinxed Sánchez!

Not your fault, I blame the Nationals reddit on that one. Moderators were deleting any half-comment about a no hitter. Imagine being arrogant enough to think your poasts impact the game lmao. They have TTW-syndrome over there.

Was funny seeing the reaction when he lost it, even though I wanted the no hitter and quite like Sanchez.

The Tigers must be sitting there like "We had JV Scherzer and Sanchez" LOL classic Detroit.
