BTW, Miami plays at Dallas Week 3 so you’ll be using another golden bullet early.

Does the 3 times per team count for the whole season? Or just each individual tournament?

We usually have 2 or 3 go arounds. Nobody has made it to 17-0 yet!

It would be reset for Part Deux.

Thanks for the collective jinx...after a one-point escape in Week 1, I’m headed where no TTW Survivor has ever gone...10 weeks or more!

Wow ... the end of the Houston vs New Orleans game ... Wow!!!

I was just flipping channels and caught the end of the game:goal

- Brees 40 yard pass from Saints end of field 3rd and two
- two passes and a Houston touchdown ... ties game
- kicker misses extra point ... penalty ... makes second attempt, up by 1
- Brees squeezes out every yard until 2 seconds left
- 58 yard field goal ... Saints win.

Wow

Razzle Dazzle fail on that one. Carolina is just not that good. Cam Newton couldn't hit the water if he fell out of a boat these days.
He had no protection and the O-line did just as bad in their run blocking assignments. CMC was almost invisible tonight. On the direct snap, it was all white jerseys so he couldn’t cut back for even a half-yard. Shaq Barrett was in Newton’s face all night.

This was one game where I'm glad I passed on CMC in fantasy and took Pat Mahomes instead. I had the #2 overall pick and the scoring is skewed in favor of qbs more so than any other position. Obviously, Saquon went #1 overall, but I hesitated between McCaffrey, Kamara and Mahomes. Pulled the trigger and took Mahomes since I felt like he's pretty much in a qb tier all alone.

These survival league games are crazy. All really close. Everyone living on the edge already.
It wasn’t supposed to be close last night...I was leaning towards my pick but wanted confirmation I wasn’t off target so a quick search led me to Fan Duel’s #1 lock for Survivor pools.

Their other top 3 choices were NE and Dallas, both on the road and both teams I was trying to save for later.

Two stats that blew it for me:

zero TDs for Carolina and Newton’s 2 carries for zero yards and one fumble lost. That from a QB who averages 5 yards per carry and nearly two TDs combined passing/rushing every contest.

The cleanup of road pigeon Winston: first win away from Tampa in 14 tries. To travel back from the West Coast for a road game on a short week after a horrible performance and compete intelligently to a clean 14/22/181/1TD/0 INT/105.1 QBR stat line was remarkable. Arians and 80-year-old legend Tom Moore are whispering loudly in his ear and Jameis is starting to hear the mantra: pull the ball down and take a sack if necessary.

Newton aint right. I don't think his shoulder ever recover. Despite the O-line and all that mess he was spraying the ball all over the place.

He is the most prolific 3/4th down short yard QB in history and when faced with those situations they never even tried. He is busted and they are protecting him.

It’s definitely possible. Sometimes these things can go downhill fast.

After week 1 I assumed it was a similar situation to Luck last year. It took him a few games to start throwing right again (Brissett came in for some of the plays they needed to go deep). After 3-4 weeks, Luck was back to his old self. Maybe it’ll be the same with Cam, but it’s not been pretty so far.

With the exception of last season, he’s always been mediocre on accuracy (62% best before last year’s 68%).He dropped a long dime on his best play last night (44 yards with no YAC). Most of his misses last night were under duress...a certain TD in the EZ corner where he couldn’t step in to his follow through and a double clutch on a throw to wide open CMC with loads of green grass in front of him.

The shoulder issue doesn’t explain his rushing woes as much as a sprain in his foot during training camp.

Starting 0-2 at home is almost certainly a death knell for their playoff chances.

Which 0-2 NY team will request to be renamed the NY Bumblers???

#RumblingStumblingBumbling

I don't know but I will guarantee you this. I will only pick against both of them twice and if I'm still alive in week 10 (small chance) I'll pick a winner between the jets and giants. Even if they are both winless (hopefully they are both winless) :)

Touuugh week. I feel some upsets coming but ill take the Rams by 13.

Yeah, I feel like there are a few no brainers, but you never really know. I didn't want to pick against Miami again, so I can save that bullet for later. Despite the point spreads, the LA Rams actually have the best chance of advancing based on the odds I saw on ESPN.
