Bianca Vanessa Andreescu is no human
she does not what losing means
in Toronto against Kasatkina she was 5-3 down in the deciding setI think she actually has forgotten how to lose. A couple of times she has gotten close but maybe winning was easer so she just did that instead lol.

That would impact the money she makes from sponsorship, not her prize money Badabing888 mentioned. Everyone pays taxes according to the country hosting the tournament.Canada takes a lot in taxes, she better move.
All her liberal friends need a safe space right now

Are you guys the same ones that said that Genie had a bit of 'extra' around her waist? Genie fell for that and lost a lot of weight (and power) and then you all criticized her. (OK, Genie was never a Bianca in level of play.)
Why don't we let the good tennis players play and control irrelevant comments about their body shape?
@Meles likes it
“Delusional haters”?
You’d have to be delusional to support Serena after all the rubbish she’s pulled. Hope the Canadian pummels her.

No, she used an outfit where all sweat were shown, more areas than just under arm sweat. See through as well. Why didn't Serena use catsuit in the final? In all the other matches she used it, she won.
I liked her speech, very graceful.
Bianca was amazing though, impressive focus for her age.
The U.S. tournament can't. The U.S. government does. The Canadian government does it with the prize money at the Rogers Cup, just like the French government does at the French Open.I don't see how a U.S. tournament can dictate how a foreign player pays taxes. That is likely decided by the Canadian government.

Google it for yourself if you don't believe me.
Well done Andreescu, you played a fantastic match!
Overall without a doubt!
For a set and a half she was super.
Never saw her that focused before in the past year and a half.
Then she went into 'ugly' mode, where she lost it for a few games, letting Serena back in the match.
Fortunately she pulled herself out of it to finish the match finally.
I'm not sure about agreements, but I have to assume that all governments have guidelines for pro athletes winning prize money in their country, and how tournaments manage the money, pretty much like any employer would. Not doubting you. Just trying to figure out how it works. Sounds like an agreement between the U.S. and Canadian governments
whereby a Canadian player's U.S. Open tournament income is taxed at the same rate as a U.S. citizen. And nothing more than that, regardless of whether or not Canada's tax rate is higher.
Is that how it works?
Glad it didnt go to a TB

All players at the US Open, regardless of their nationality, have to pay taxes to the US government and the state government just like any other worker in New York would. I have always assumed that players had to get an amputated check where taxes were already taken off, because I can't imagine any of them having to fill a tax report in 20 countries or so every year, ie one tax report per country where they earn a prize money.
No, because it was not earned in Canada. The Canadian player gets to keep everything that's left after the U.S. taxes were paid for.I understand that part... But when the Canadian player goes home, does he not get taxed on his U.S. tournament prize winnings by the Canadian government?
what about Serena ?? she is still hungry to break the Margaret court record ... and also at French open and Wimbledon, Bianca's game doesnt' seem like it is as effective
Serena was clearly outplayed on the baseline game,, but serena really shot herself on the foot by serving totally crappy..... Evidence being when she served well down 1-5, she won 4 games in a row. you have to wonder what would have happened if she Served like that the entire match ?????
Why didn't Serena use catsuit in the final? In all the other matches she used it, she won.
Osaka also has the crosscourt FH as a very dangerous shot. She can hit a winner from anywhere on the court with that shot in defence or offence and she is fearless with it. She can be on the full run two feet behind the baseline and peg the winner.
Another dangerous player for Serena at AO are players like Anisimova and Kenin. Both are capable of getting hot for two sets and outhitting anyone on slow-medium hardcourt. Kenin is like Andreescu in that she is already very advanced in tactics and shot selection despite her age.
Well done Andreescu !
Serena jumping over that ball that went long was cringe worthy. Ball was never going to hit her. She just likes being over dramatic.
It was so great seeing all the pretentious celebrities (like Megan Markle) show up for this match thinking it was going to be a big Serena Love Fest. I'm sure ****** bag Spike Lee was there too.
As Serena danced around the court being hailed as the greatest women's player of all time, the camera was supposed to pan around the crowd, showing all the Black celebrities gloating like they had some part in her success.
But their hero is now old and fat and shouldn't be wearing skin-tight clothing. A sweaty mess with rolls around her middle.
Some things were not meant to be.
Long Live Stefi Graf.
I think you are confusing her fitness trainer Virginie Tremblay, who did assume coaching duties but only in Aukland since her actual coach was unable to make the trip. Edit: but since you wonder, she played tennis as a junior, though maybe not at an international level. She consulted regularly with the actual coach in Aukland.I really like Andreescu's coach
Does anyone know anything about her?
I've never seen her before she started coaching Andreescu. She seems pretty young. Is there a possibility she started her coaching career when Andreescu started her pro career?
She has an extremely relaxed look and seems very sanguine and calm whenever I have seen her.
Boy, I sure hope you're not an accountant doing taxes for anyone. Bianca would have to fill out her tax return claiming all her income, less expenses incurred to earn that income, and pay tax on the net amount less a credit for taxes she paid in other countries with which Canada has a tax treaty. It's all very complicated but the formula is basically what I laid out.No, because it was not earned in Canada. The Canadian player gets to keep everything that's left after the U.S. taxes were paid for.
In other words, the money only gets taxed once, in the original country it was earned, and not in the country the player resides in.
The reason why players often switch country of residence has to do with money earned from sponsorships.

And because the Canadian tax rate is generally higher, she 'll likely get a credit for the entire amount paid to the IRS.Boy, I sure hope you're not an accountant doing taxes for anyone. Exactly. Canada provided her and her family with citizenship and opportunities, and funded her junior tennis career. But why bother giving back now that she is able to earn a lot of money. Life is about taking all that you can, and giving as little as possible.Canada takes a lot in taxes, she better move.
