I would have kept all three on Center in the first week.

My theory is that on Monday, one of Federer or Nadal, likely Nadal will play on Court One.

Then for the quarters, Djokovic will move out to court one, since they will want Fedal both to play on Center before their semi to make sure both are adjusted to the conditions.
Apart from last year usually same half plays same time, so let’s say Fed-Nishikori is on centre at 1PM, Nadal has to play on C1 at the same start time. Last year they changed that as they caved into Djokovic pressure

Or Hitman we could be lucky in the mighty fed will be dispatched before then and Joe can have an easy opponent for the finals

Nadal won't be an easy final opponent either. Djokovic will likely playing one of Federer or Nadal the way I see it. Of course I could be wrong and they all go out fishing in Mallorca after Monday.

Nadal’s backhand has become a real weapon these past two years
If you look at it - Nadals bh is trained the most. he gets all those super powerful forehands on his backhand from all of his rightie opponents. I think he feels his backhand even more than his forehand. (because of his dominant right hand which is on the top - try it and you will see)

Nadal is such in good form mentally and game wise that Tsonga will probably need 5 hours to win this. That's how things are looking for the frenchmen. Nadal will never fold like back in 14, 13, 12 etc without a huge fight.

Maybe you are right.

Really though, Jo was forced to most of those slices by the power angles from Rafa, doesn't cover the court laterally well enough to drive those and make up the ground back.

Pretty good first four games, a bit unlucky that the inside in forehand misses by a couple mm. Rafa has the break.

I like when I'm thinking something and the commentator immediately says the same thing..

Normally Nadal is so quick to get around those slices for forehands, but if he doesn't do enough with it then Jo has a chance to crack the ball to the opposite side of the court.

Tsonga does have a solid history at Wimbledon, he's also in some list of the best players not to win a slam, he could give Nadal a test here.

Pathetic from Tsonga already. Terrible second serve, slow movement and clearly overweight. I thought he was fat in Halle, he's even beefier now.

Kind of sad seeing Nadal with a comb over.

A bit early for Tsonga's serve to desert him.

Really disappointed by Tsonga's gameplan so far. He needs to be much more aggressive.

Nadal's serve is really impressive this week.

once i said Tsonga should eat more of that curved fruit and got a warning
this is why i dont want ever to Tsonga win Nadal. He is just a headcase. he would probably lose in the next round anyway.
