She's often been compared to Federer for many years, even as a junior. Quite a lot of her game was shaped off Fed's. It's amazing to watch, if she can keep the nerves away she can certainly be a consistent slam champ at the top.

Vondrousova needs to swing more and just go for more shots. She did a bit better towards the end of the set with less crumby dropshots but she needs to ease those nerves.

As a Barty fan I hope it's a 6-0 set though.

She gets a lot of pace and spin considering she's only 5'5". Her slice BH is wicked like Fed's too.

Unfortunately, being short might be her downfall from winning even more consistently, but you can see how she generates pace. A lot of it is technique. Her FH is a beautiful stroke as well.

Disappointed she has a 2HBH though.

Lisicki did all the work that tournament to knock out Serena and Radwanska (in an epic) only to lose to Bartoli who didn't beat a top 15 player in the entire tournament.

Was the same for Stosur here in 2010. Did all the work to beat Henin and end her 24 match win streak at RG, knocked out #1 Serena and #4 Jankovic only to lose to Schiavone.

Man Lisicki's run to that final was insane.
