LOL. Not something you see everyday. But what a way to get the point.

It seems downright criminal that Kiki would be rewarded for such a horrid mishit -- but it's the law.

This had to add to Simona's mounting frustrations. Nothing seemed to be going her way. She was doing a great job of running down balls (despite being a bit under the weather during the week) but still ended up losing those rallies. Quite a few times she would construct a point very well (and aggressively) but then end up blowing the finishing shot. Very frustrating.

This is the single most WTA point I have ever seen in my life.

You referring to the shank or getting hit? Both of these happen in the ATP as well. Players (& others) get hit all the time, especially in doubts, but it usually happens within the court boundaries.

Similar BH, perhaps. But JC had a much better looking serve.

They both have the forehand as the main weapon and a much weaker backhand.
Even physically they look quite similar.
