2019 WTA Sudden Death League: US Open

Wow! The worst showing by me in 2 years! :( But happy for sexy Sorana - after struggling even in 25 K ITF-tournaments of course she now wins a way better ranked and theoretically 'in form'-player!

Doubles are so lame, but I guess I have to participate… (expecting to be out of that too by tomorrow! :/ )

R2 Top: Mertens

I have actually thought about that during this year! The reason why I have only participated in Grand Slams is that as a European and owner of Eurosport player I can see matches of Grand Slams but practically no other tournaments. (Ok, some suspicious streams perhaps could be found of smaller tournaments, but haven't gone into that... ) But how many times I have picked a player because I have seen she is 'In form' during these almost 10 years I have been here? Two or three times maybe - so hardly essential for doing well in these. I will participate at least on some tournaments later this year, if not all... And I haven't participated on any ATP SDLs because I have been waiting it to get more interesting and not dominated forever by those 3-4 guys! :D

I spent the whole of 2018 just cutting and pasting the post I opened the page on the ATP SDL because giving any thought had proved futile. I think l ended up #11 for the year when I'd started much lower.
Not much thought is required!
And that's a good thing!
 
Looks like we may end up with a situation like Wimbledon a few years ago where we are all gonna have multiple picks playing on the same days...because weather looks iffy for NYC tomorrow as well
