I feel the same way. He's a great guy. I also like Medvedev because he is very honest/real and had nerves of steel at the US Open. This match is more about getting Nadal eliminated for me

I don't think difference is that stark. Plus Medvedev has won like 7 tournaments and TONS of cash.
The amount of money he would get here is PEANUTS compared to what he made by winning Cincy, Shanghai and runner up UsOpen.

The Mad Lad has a bad record versus Zverev so I'm not sure if he'll want water Zedrot's ego and get his confidence growing. Or he may just tank to spite Nadal. All in the Mad Lad's hands right now.

Nadal pretends to be friends with him yet Daniil keeps telling the umpire
during their matches Nads time wasting goes over the time limit.

Please enlighten me: why isn't Nadal garanteed a spot in the semis since he beat Tsitsipas today? I mean, if Zverev wins there will be three players with 2-1 record. And in head-to-head, Zverev has beaten Nadal, Nadal has beaten Tsitsipas and Tsitsipas has beaten Zverev... Who gets to be winner and runner-up? Confusing...

EDIT: ok I think I get it, when two are tied it's the hth record, but when three are tied it's the % of set won...
