Nadal played an amazing first set, and that's despite being COMPLETELY mentally broken in this matchup. In the second set Djokovic gave some hell of a fight, and I was sure he was going to win in the third. That was a very big for Nadal. (just like the matches you mentioned were for Djokovic. He played great in AO final, not his problems that Nadal was so bad)
Anyway, that was not my point. What I say is that both were at equal conditions before the final and had to win 2 sets in order to win the title. Nadal didn't get the advantage due to winning his matches easier and not depending on opponents choking. That's the difference between Rome and WTF.

The difference between Rome and WTF is one strike and you're out in the former.
In normal conditions, Nadal would have been out on Monday, so I don't see what the complaining is about.
Nadal had to be close to perfect after his first match and he failed to be. That's his problem. When 3 guys have a 2-1 record, someone has to go out and it happened to be Nadal because he performed the worst of the 3.

Mad Lad will return favor today and put some more Russian blood in for the weekend.
I was sure also Zed was dead but Meds is dead, the Russian rushed out after more wins this season than anyone.
Meds FH approach shot is 50/50 as is his BH on short slices delivered by cheatdal.
Hopefully he realizes laughing at his mistakes is not working for him, he needs to buckle down and use
his fire to go an extra step like Murray did publicly and officially to expose the cheat.
