It wasn't as stunning as his first three rounds, but still a very good performance. Back when they played in Paris Tsitsipas was just bad. This time though he wasn't really allowed to get comfortable, mostly having to hit behind the baseline.

So, 18/18 wins, beating Nadal, Federer, Thiem, Medvedev, Tsitsipas, Monfils... Couldn't have wished for a better start to 2020. Good luck to Djokovic during the Sunshine Double. It's about time he goes deep there again.

I’m loving his relentless attitude to stay at top too. He wants the weeks at no1, year end no1 and wants to prolong his win streak as long as possible. The more Rafa wins the better for Novak. Novak and Rafa are so dominant at present. They gonna be in many finals!

The really sad thing is that after that choke from Monfils players will have even less belief against Djokovic. They all just come to matches against him thinking they have no chance. They give up long before even walking on the court. In 2019 it was very nice when many players believed they can challenge him. Now it looks like another 2011/2015 season, if not worse than that.
