Thiem will beat either Djokovic or Zverev, Nadal will beat Medvedev. Then we’ll get Thiem vs Nadal in the final and Thiem winning the event. It would be so predictable but I sense that’s what gonna happen.

Unpredictable would be Thiem winning though.

Well to me Djokovic/Zverev is the favorite against Thiem and Medvedev is the favorite against Nadal lol

How so? Last years finalist, who lost barely with the flu/virus. He’s beaten Rafa and Med on their last hardcourt matches. And bested Novak last time they played here. He’s as much a favorite as anyone, considering Novak is playing poorly, may be nursing an elbow issue.

I’d say if Novak and him weren’t playing each other in the SF I’d probably put them as the two favorites.

Because you still can't trust Thiem in a big final.

Rusedski has picked just about everybody as the man to beat. At the start of the tournament the ball was firmly in Djokovic's court, then Thiem beat Rafa so Thiem became his pick. Not long after, Meds routined Djokovic so Meds became his pick but at the same time he was impressed with Rafa against Thiem even though he lost so whilst he didn't go as far as saying Rafa was the man to beat, he did say, he was picking him to win his first WTF. Meds remained the man to beat until this afternoon after today's match between Djokovic and Sasha. Djokovic was back as the man to beat, but by the end of the session, Greg was back with Thiem as the man to beat.

He is just going round and round in circles.

LOL no Federer and the other usual suspects, Roddick, Hewitt and of course Safin.
Only joking.

Great line-up. Better than any since probably 2010, though some folks around here would dismiss it out of hand simply because of the names and dates.

Scheduling is unfair here with Thiem and Nadal getting an extra days rest. Especially unfair it is to Medvedev who has to play late today, he should tank here.

Why are they even playing tennis when majority of the slems are won by Big 3?

I don't get the height comments with Diego. Like you, he didn't decide on how tall he wanted to be. And he's an incredibly accomplished tennis player.

And yes I'm taller than him.
Most guys are ;)

it’s just funny to see a miniman do so well against giants

plus his disney sponsorship helps with the miniman vibe

Medvedev will officially be the best player of the tournament SO FAR.

I think if he gets through Nadal, he can surely beat Novak in the final. The main obstacle is Nadal for Medvedev.
