Medvedev started really well, Nadal ground him down with excellent usage of 30seconds between points and snatched the first set away from him. Both have been average in the second set with Nadal getting the break after a poor game from Medvedev then got completed outplayed when serving for the match with high quality returning from Medvedev and now we're into a TB.

He's always been mentally weak, just watch some of his early 2019 collapses (Lajovic, Thiem, Goffin). He gets overrated because of his USO fightback, a match he wasn't going to win regardless.

Completely wrong. Medvedev missed no first serves in any game and held easily in all of them except the one game where he was broken and served all second serves. He was also in all of Nadal’s service games and did not break. In the second set Nadal CHOKED when serving for the set and did not his his spots serving like he dominantly did when serving at 6-5 down.

Oh how I wish that he had become a fisherman instead, sparing us from this misery and choking.
But knowing Nadal's luck, you just know that he would not catch any fish at all and his family would slowly starve one by one and then his boat would capsize and he would drown.
