2020 ATP Sudden Death League: US Open

With regards the 2020 Top 8 and the Save picks for 2021 - what's everyones thoughts on how we should award them ?

ATP are still running a WTF and the qualifiers are based on the rolling rankings instead of the usual race standings.

However, I think we should still use our 2020 Points rather than our Rankings for Top 8 Qualification and then our 2021 Save picks. Whats everyones thoughts ?

I agree.

Btw, for what are the save picks usually being awarded?
 
@Yugram Our overall winner gets 2 Save Picks for following year. 2nd to 5th gets 1 Save. Top 8 Qualify for WTF Bonus comp.

1. You can use your save pick to advance if your player loses or retires during their match.

2. Save picks must be used before the last 16 of the Grand Slams or before the last 8 of any other tournament and must be used before the ATP Finals.

3. Please nominate a winning player to replace your losing player.

4. Your next pick must be correct to gain additional points.

I won a doubles title at the one of the majors - I forget which one - but it was never recorded anywhere :(

I like the doubles, but wd suggest just playing it a the 4 majors from 2021 onwards.

We can do it if people want it...however I think this tournament is a bust for it honestly...next year?

I can understand scraping doubles for the rest of this year, but I think it would be nice to have doubles for more than just the majors next year. Maybe the majors and the 1,000's both ATP & WTA. It'd be fun to include mixed at the majors.

We at one point did doubles like that and interest was not massive outside the majors. We can try it again next year though
