Meles was depressed on Black Friday and went on a shopping spree.
That and other more important matters have extended my typical TTW vacation so just no time to post. Glad this tournament is winding down as I've got a couple pricey trinkets to evaluate/setup where return deadline is end of month.

Well the future reign of the Zedzilla appears back on track and I do agree its not a pretty picture; basically a giant servebot who can return about as well as Sampras.Only one good thing about that GIF is Thiem, the other is cringe don't be like this Meles, Thiem ONLY

It would be shocking if the winner of Zverev-Thiem beat Djokovic. He's precisely where he was expected to be at this point in the tournament. I hope whomever the opponent ends up being, we get an entertaining final. I'm rooting for a "shocking" final, but it's highly doubtful either are ready to pull off the upset.

If Thiem makes a 3rd slam final, he should be more than ready to pull off the upset...especially considering he has slam wins over Nole. And now that Zverev has gotten over quarteridous, he just might be ready to finally add a slam to his packed resume. I'm also thinking that Djokovic will become frayed when he faces real competition for the first time this tournament.

<3 the skewing of facts from a match played less than 24 hours ago:
There is a big difference between being up 4-1 and 40-0 on your own serve and being the receiver at 1-4 up 0-40. Joe Kovic did turn that critical game in the match around by winning 5 points in a row but there are a lot more 0-40 holds than there are 40-0 breaks.
One of the most important breaks from a 40-0 hole was in the Wimby’12 final by fedr vs Murray in a critical game of the pivotal third set.
