Tough start for Shapo, what form is Cilic in?

Medvedev is the defending championship. The Djokovic-Medvedev combo is much more potent than Thiem-Tsisipas combo in the bottom half.

Djokovic will just use this tournament as a warm up. He will win to keep his best performance and energy for when the slam matches start. It’s gonna be interesting few weeks.

I'd be quite suprised if Djokovic goes all out to try to win this, he'll be just using it as practice IMO. Of course, if other players just fall over, then he wouldn't hesitiate, but he is there for the USO, the good thing is, he gets to play competitive matches on the same court in the same conditions as the USO itself...

Not quite the same court and the same conditions.

For that reason I think he'll try to win it. Wouldn't it be like a psychological problem if you lost on a court and ended up playing there again in the US Open? Though, I think the US Open would be in the empty center court for Djokovic which will be a sad sight. Also Djokovic is rusty after long breaks, at least from what I could tell from his injury awhile ago. I think the more match time the better for him.
