Why win the set 6-2 when you can throw that away, get broken back to love, gift the opponent serve for the match, break him back and lure him into your famous tiebreak web where you hit three aces, a return winner and a smash for a tiebreak bagel.

Honestly, that brake of serve at 5:5, looked almost as a tank job. 2 inexplicable shanks, double fault... [emoji2957]

Any chance Djokovic's horrible conditioning is COVID related? He dry heaved during his post match interview. So strange...
On a very newsy day in tennis, Djokovic will not be taking questions:

“Novak Djokovic was not feeling well on court today and it worsened after the match. The tournament medical team has advised him not to do press today. We will be sending out a quote as soon as possible.”

Oof that is really concerning. Hope he's ok.

The competition is such a joke. Once again, the young players can't even reach Djokovic. As a result he has to face Raonic in the final. (who will win 3-4 games)
The Canadian Bacon-Beast (an example of 'hyphenated hell') is 0-10 against Novak. I agree with you, 6-2, 6-4 for Novak.

This match doesn't deserve a thread. This is going to be the usual 6-2 6-2 beatdown that always happens in their matches.

When he took down Murray I wrote: Nobody beats Milosh 10 times in a row.

Today I hope to write Nobody beats Milosh 11 times in a row

So Novak = Nobody, since he has beaten Raonic 10 times in a row?
Just a reference intended for humor. "And let that be a lesson to you all: nobody beats Vitas Gerulaitis 17 times in a row." Once numbers start getting up there in any rivalry, people bring out the reference. Same went for Cilic when he finally beat Novak in 2016 Paris and people started saying "No one beats Marin Cilic 15 times in a row!"

I know what you are trying to say. You could have said no Scots beat Raonic 10 times in a row in Murray's case.

Only Federer beats Ferrer 17 times in a row!

I'm only up to the 4th game of the second set and it's just bruising. So many brutal, fast side-to-side rallies back to back. No wonder Novak took an MTO.

I know everyone says Novak has the GOAT two hander but for me it's RBA. And he was actually breaking down Novak's BH, going into it 100% of the time off his own BH and a tonne of inside out FHs in the first set.

What I do not understand is why RBA sits so deep in the court. He is probably top 3 movers on tour, with good compact groundstrokes. WTF.
