As for Novak it's another 20 match win streak he's achieved in his career, another HC final, 120 more ranking points and a 6th win over a top 10 player this year. Don't see him beating Tsitsipas tomorrow though.

Yep that is true. We need to remember these players are human beings and not machines. Novak wasn’t at his best today and Monfils played well. That’s how upsets happen and Djoko will lose some matches. However, testament to novaks fighting spirit to pull through again. The man is some warrior.

I agree. Tsitsipas is the favourite. He’s in better form. Novak will need to up his level at a lot to win it. He’s capable but I think the young Greek is favourite on current form. Amazing run from Djokovic though and great start to season no matter what happens tomorrow.

Monfils was playing his best tennis today. Had a great game plan, but what surprised me the most is how easily he returned Djokovic's serves. Than he messed up the TB with that double fault.

But it was also striking how Novak turned ultra agressive on MPs. He saved all three, it wasn't Monfils who wasted them.
