Sinner will win a total of 9 games. It's hilarious that people are predicting a guy who has never won a single tournament in his career will defeat Nadal on Chatrier. He'll be destroyed, just like everyone else who is not named Djoker/Soderling.

Before Zedraffe was dispatched by Sinner in four tidy sets you used this same inaccurate statement to belittle Sinner as not a dangerous opponent. Sinner won the 2019 NextGen Finals and now has the task in front of him to match the accomplishments of Chung (2017 NextGen Finals champion defeated Joe Kovic at AO’18) and Tsitsipas (2018 NextGen Finals champion defeated fedr at AO’19). Are you saying this again as an anti-jinx? It worked once.

You’re not even a Nadal fan so stop being Debbie Downer. The teen won’t drool all over himself. genuflect and then ask The Nadal for an autograph after a beatdown like loathsome Korda. Of course Nadal is a heavy favorite but Sinner has weapons and an attitude to make this a match.

Just like we respect fellow Spanish players RBA and PCB, we should also respect Rafael Nadal Parera and address him as RNP.

RNP will try his best in this hard match, no?
CAG will be the next acronym to remember...it doesn’t stand for Computer Aided Graphics.

Sinner and Zverev were handling the same balls.
Hardly worth responding to as the scientists have determined the primary spread of the virus is through respiratory droplets, not ball surfaces. If your theory held water we wouldn’t be able to see competitive American football during the pandemic.

I’m sure Sinner will go through the usual testing before he is allowed to play his next match. If he passes, he plays...just like everyone else.

But it takes 2-14 days for symptoms to appear. Don't get me wrong. I want the match to take place but not at the risk of spreading COVID-19.

Are you suggesting that there are infected players in the field in American football?

I repeat, ball surfaces do not transmit the virus. Respiratory droplets are the source.

Going back on ignore for you. What a waste of bandwidth trying to have rational discussion with a stone. Enjoy your ignorance.
Why did you take me off ignore? It means nothing to me because you are not one of the posters that springs to mind when I come on TTW. Hardly knew you were here.

Rafa to coast in straight sets. He is and remains the favourite here at Roland Garos and will do so until he retires.

That said both Thiem & Novak can push him all the way here, and possibly take him if he drops his level just a notch.

It is the last match in the Philippe Chatrier.
Do you think they will play indoors?

Do we know who Sinner is a fan of? The only teenagers I can recall beating or even troubling Nadal are Kyrgios (Federer fan), Shapovalov (Federer), and Coric (Djokovic).

Anyone who has been a fan of Nadal, including Rublev, has been obliterated.

just found this stat on coffee break tennis. 5 or more shot rallies, RAFA is getting clobbered.......... this is really bad. if he plays Novak or Thiem, they will make him play long rallies all match long and if RAFA is bad then it is all over in straight sets.

I hope Sinner isn’t a fanboy of any of the big 3. We don’t need TTWesque fanboys playing the big 3 and getting clobbered

Sinner is very cool, doesn’t seem to get struck by the occasion and has the firepower. I predict 10+ slams for Sinner but Rafa in 3 this time.

Idol growing up Federer but also likes Djokovic and says he is inspired by Rafa!

Agree completely! I have faith in Sinner. He may lose the match but he will make it a match. Thats what I want to see!

lets be honest, no matter the result, Sinner matches are already epic and the expected most interesting matches

Sinner's wicked backhand against Rafa's monstrous forehand:

Lets see how sinner can handle nadals top spin, he will struggle thats for sure. I expect the Spaniard to win in 3, with a score line along the lines of 6-1 6-3 6-4. Would be a good lesson for the youngster.

Sinner has by a far margin the highest RPM of ALL (even OH-BH which in general produces more spin) ATP players in 2019.
