Sloppy match for Nadal. More UEs than winners. The good thing he has going for him is that Novak and Thiem haven’t even exactly lighting it up as well. Some rough patches.

I know but zverev for his success at big stage and experience can be a handful and sinner with form he is going to bring with him although yes Rafa's tournament depends entirely on sf and final and it had been that way since draw was out

zverev is not beating nadal. He’s struggling with sinner.

Exactly it’s all about the semis and finals. We knew Rafa would likely breeze through rest of it. He’s had a cakewalk first 4 rounds like djoko first 3 rounds. Thiem has been tested more. Djoko likely to get his first test tomorrow.

Rafa will have to raise his level for semis but most likely he will.
 
Let's be honest Rafa still looks very strong on clay no matter what the conditions, He is a beast at Roland Garos.

The only two guys who look as though they are in the form to give him a really tough time are Thiem and Djokovic. I think he will at least have to play Thiem but hopefully Djokovic as well.

If somehow they both fall before reaching him, then you can hand him the title right now.

Yeah hopefully they both stay in the draw. Therefore, Rafa has had some competition at this RG. Rafa is favourite but those 2 guys generally have a shot at pushing him or taking him out.

That's exactly what I was saying, despite the scoreline Nadal doesn't look good. I mean the serve is the weakest it's ever been. He still manages to get broken despite his opponent being a UFE machine.
Again, this is just comparing to Nadal's usual level in RG. Not saying he is bad per se. Just don't think he is at the level needed to beat Thiem. And obviously not Djokovic.

Well thiem and djokovic have been sloppy as well. I think he beats thiem. Finals should be interesting.
