TeamRafa should switch to NWO avatars till the AO :)

I think sizes of fanbases differ depending on who is doing well, right? As soon as Rafa stops doing well there shall be an exodus, as soon as Federer starts doing well again immigration will go up so high we'll be demanding our own brexit.

I mean yeah what are the odds that the mod is a Fed fan when 97% of tennis fans like Fed? Much wow, so shocking, much octo.

That’s not proper logic when dealing with facts. As big as the odds are, it could have also been Rafa fans. You can’t rule it out. Besides, your percentages are based on your pompous imagination.

Of course, just like the sun could explode tomorrow.

Seems like 97% when I'm watching Fed.

Depends where the tournament is being held.

In any case, both your numbers and imagination are flawed but do enjoy it while it lasts. You know, nothing is forever in this Universe. And it doesn’t like arrogance.

I mean yeah Fed is going to retire one day so it won't last forever.

I like that this is a test poll of band wagoners because OP fully expects Nadal to overtake the slam lead next year and see who switches teams. I however hope Nadal and Djokovic equal Federer but do not overtake him to keep the debate going forever.

And everything else that you continue to brag about.
How is that bragging? There's no ME in this.

Simple facts. Federer is by far the most popular tennis player ever. No other player would have a "XXXX as a religious experience" kind of article written about them.

And that’s bragging. Well done.

Popcorn time. Things will eventually be taken over. Debate will continue regardless.

Interesting poll, though doesn't really surprise me - couple of caveats though:

1. Poll should include other players - otherwise those participating are basically forced to choose 1 of these 3
2. Should have been public, would have been interesting to see who voted for what

That's the point of this poll though, im going to do more :) the big 3 and the story around them is the central theme of the forum, just wanted a tally of who supports who for them

For me McEnroe is the best player ever. Not so much by results, but his talent is truly freakish. Mac made the most difficult shots look too easy, he saw angles nobody else did.

And the guy who wrote that religious Fed article had mental problems - killed himself a few yrs ago. Says it all really.

: )

Oxford dictionary:
to brag: to talk too proudly about something you own or something you have done

Oxford dictionary needs to come up with a new definition, clearly.

to brag, to talk too proudly about your favourite player you support or something you have done to support your favourite player on TTW. See tennis_pro’s poasts for example.

There was a thread called TTW dictionary or something, you could make your own contributions.

That guy who wrote that was a wreck, alcoholic and suicidal.

And The Feds worship him. A cult classic.
Just to even mention the article and Fed as a religious experience says something about that they want to believe in something to fill some void in themselves. This constant talk about who is most popular, as if that has any meaning to anything at all. It’s just so cringe and desperate I don’t know where to begin.

My favorite pro-Federer argument in GOAT debate is amount of money he raises on sponsor contracts. Just brilliant.

That Fed is the most popular thing is being mentioned now more than ever. Some even use it as an argument in the goat discussion now.
Rafa is so close and he is more popular in social media. Think about if Rafa made his fans aware about the ATP Fan voting to his millions of fans like Federer is doing in his social media. I think that ATP fan award would have been given to another person last years. But it’s not important!!!

If 97% fans belong to Federer then I am sure you will find at least a few atheists in them and yet, they support an article that talks about religious experience. Oh the irony. But I am sure not all Feds are high on that article.

Lol then you're the reason I made you have to vote to see :p
Hint: The VB is more than 40% as of this post :)

That’s a first. I wonder if times are changing. I am all for a healthy competition as long as there’s no unnecessary arguments and bragging; although in sports, that probably goes hand in hand. I think it will be a complete riot if Nadal breaks Federer’s and then Djokovic breaks Nadal’s.
