I actually missed this when it happened.
He's just being outclassed by a far better player.Tiafoe better regroup in the 3rd or else he is out of here!
Having seen him play live several times he has some pretty good attributes. Movement, shot tolerance, return game, touch, power.I'm honestly shocked Tiafoe got this far with his game. All of his shots just scream hopeful hitting, he does't seem to have any gameplan or tactical shot placement.
QF, not SF.Heading towards an all-Russian semi: Med versus Rublev.
I love watching him play. I find him to play a much more deliberate, thinking man's version of tennis than most.I don’t get why people say Med is boring. This is enjoyable![]()

Honestly if his serve and forehand weren't so inconsistent and technically poor he could definitely be top 10.
Was he warned for it?
Americans can’t handle their guy getting owned by a bullsheet RussianESPN has switched to Vika's match....don't want to stay with this beatdown.
An affectionate gesture in a Medly world. Was he warned for it?

Without a serve that gives him free points, he's got not chance. Esp. with 2nd serves below 80 mph. I see no plan forward or any shot that Tiafoe has that can hurt Medvedev.Tiafoe is a very good player, but Med's making him look like an amateur.
Tiafoe has nothing that can hurt Med.

Unfortunately it's a far too common occurrence in American men's tennis so we are used to it by now.Americans can’t handle their guy getting owned by a bullsheet Russian![]()
I'm American and I'm 100% behind Med for every match this tournament. It's best not to speak for 330 million different people.Americans can’t handle their guy getting owned by a bullsheet Russian![]()

I'm actually super nervous about the next three matches in succession, which should be Rublev-Thiem-Zverev. He absolutely can win all of them, but that's going to be three tough matches.
