I wish i could stay up to watch Zverev but i need to sleep.

Oh wait it's tomorrow haha never mind! ignore me! I misread what they said, they were like "next up Zverev" and i got confused xD

Rublev is tough, I just don't think he can trouble Mad Lad in this form. I trust Mad lad to tame Thiem and turn him into an error machine.

I really don't agree, a lot of players in the top 50 have a good game but to be top 10 you need to have the tennis brain too and be able to make the two work together. Tiafoe has the game for sure although i think he's a bit too ballbashy at times but he just doesn't have the brain to match it, he needs better shot placement and shot selection. He gets too predictable and gets exposed too easily by the better players. You almost feel like he needs to be on his A-game the entire match to stand a chance and no player can be zoning every match, sometimes you need to let the tactics do the work, not just the game.
I completely agree with you. Plenty of guys in the top 100 even have great attributes and could hypothetically be top 10/20 if they magically fixed their biggest weaknesses. I'd say several of the next gen, and virtually all of the lost gen are missing the "tennis brain". But it's probably still easier to coach shot placement and strategy than say completely overhaul the technique of a forehand and serve in Francis' case.

My point was I don't think it's very surprising he made the 4th round with an easy draw. Esp considering he was ranked in the 20s not that long ago and has been in the quarters at AO last year. He has talent, but also very obvious flaws

At this point, Thiem is the only one in this draw who has the weapons to stop Medvedev. But I just don't think Thiem can do it on hardcourt.
